Cooper Farms Peaches
__

Tim Cooper checking peaches before they go out to the stores...
__ Peaches will never be cheap because of the expensive land, the fuel, weed control, fertilizer, annual pruning, the sprays, and the intensive labor requirements. It takes at least three years to bring a tree into production and the trees require care whether they have peaches or not. There are may hazards in the business and peaches are vulnerable to hail, wind, heavy rains, late freezes, and insects, making us wonder how any perfect peaches are ever picked. They are indeed things of beauty and the queen of fruit. __

Cooper Farms peaches are being harvested every day, by hand...
